Eileen Burke

Eileen Burke, age 66, passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2026, surrounded by love. She faced a long and difficult illness with strength and grace, and her family is grateful that she was able to live in comfort and peace in her final days. Born on March 15, 1959, in Washington Heights, New York, Eileen was known for her kindness, strength, and dignity. She loved deeply and lived fully, and those who knew her will remember her resilience, spirit, and lifelong devotion to her family. She is survived by her husband, Redmond; her sons, Redmond (Kaitlin) and Sean; her siblings, Martin (Yvonne), Maura, and Richard (Catherine); and her grandchildren, Maeve, Declan, and Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and Martin O’Dea. The wake will be held at Wyman-Fischer Funeral Home in Pearl River, New York, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on 10:00 AM Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Saint Aedan’s Church in Pearl River, New York, followed by burial at Saint Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, New York. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to her favorite charity, Wounded Warrior Project, or that loved ones take a moment to reach out to someone they care about — something she always valued. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
