Donna Wilkins

Donna Wilkins of Nanuet, NY, died on September 25, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. She was 70 years old.

Donna was born on September 22, 1950 in New York City to William and Catherine Leahy. She had a happy childhood with her brothers, cousins, and friends. She married her loving husband Paul Wilkins in 1972 and moved to Nanuet where she raised three children and met many wonderful friends.

Donna will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and wit as well as for her love of traveling and playing cards and mah jonghh. She developed deep friendships with her fellow travelers and players that she treasured.

She is survived by her husband Paul, her children Valerie Wilkins, Raymond and Carol Wilkins, and Kitty and Alejandro Poblete, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Virginia Leahy, Kevin and Denise Leahy, and Eugene Leahy, as well as by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 29 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 30, at 10:00am at St. Anthony’s in Nanuet, NY with a burial to follow at Frederick Loescher Veteran Cemetery in Spring Valley, NY.
