Donna Hoffman Obituary

Donna Marie Hoffman of Pearl River, NY passed on January 7, 2022 at Nyack Hospital. She was 72 years old.

Donna retired from the Nanuet School District where she worked in Food Services for over 25 years.

Donna was born in Los Angeles, CA January 14, 1949. Prior to moving to Pearl River in 1970 she lived in Cresskill, NJ.

Locally, she was a member of the Girls Scouts Heart of the Hudson, formerly the Rockland County Girl Scout Council. Her duties included, Troop Leader, Camp Counselor at Camp Addison Boyce, and volunteer for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Kennedy and husband Andrew Kennedy; daughter, Christine Bonavito and husband Michael Bonavito; son, Harry Liggett; grandsons, Andrew Kennedy, Anthony Bonavito, Thomas Bonavito; sisters, Patricia Flynn, Dorothy Walsh; brothers, Robert Hennessey, Thomas Hennessey, Jack Hennessey and many cherished nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Hoffman (2005) and her parents Dorothy King Hennessey and Robert Hennessey and sister, Marie Hennessy.

A private burial will be held and a Mass at a later date.

Friends may make memorial donations in Donna’s name to Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson.
