November 18,1954 – December 3, 2023

Donald Haug passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023 at home with family surrounding him.  He grew up in Woodhaven, NY and led an exciting life, hitch-hiking to Alaska with a friend at the age of 16.  Don spent several summers working on fishing boats in Alaska, lived in Aspen, CO, and Jackson Hole, WY before returning home to Queens. He married Reingard Meyer in 1992 and moved to Pearl River.  He retired from Tuscan Farms and helped manage Cherry Brook Condos.

He is remembered for his infectious smile, amazing spirit, and his kind, caring, generous nature. 

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Reingard.  Siblings, Thomas Haug(Vancouver, BC Canada), Donna Mead(Gerard) Pearl River, Christopher Haug(Vickie) Vail, AZ, and nieces and nephews, Kristen, Tara, Sean, Tyler, and Kyle.  Don was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Margaret Haug.
