Diane Keeley

Diane Keeley, 77 years old, resided in Pearl River, New York for the past 55 years. Diane passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in the Bronx on December 23rd, during the great blizzard of 1947, she was the daughter of William Collopy and Theresa Collopy. Diane was a nurse at Nyack Hospital for over 20 years. Her ability to care for, help, and take care of others was undeniable. Nursing was not just a career, it was one of Diane’s many greatest passions and accomplishments. Following her nursing career, Diane loved spending time with her family, friends and of course, her animals. 

Diane is survived by her three children; her daughter Kim Mirro and her husband Louis Mirro of Nanuet, her son Frank Barresi and his wife AnnMarie of Pearl River, and her youngest son John Anderson and his wife Marie of  Washingtonville; her sister, Eileen McHale (Collopy), her brother Dennis and wife Kathy Collopy; sister in-law Eleanor Collopy,  nine grandchildren, Louie, Joey, and Vinny Mirro, Ashley, Frankie, and Mikey Barresi; Michael, Katelyn and Thomas Anderson and one great grandchild, Colton, and her many loving and wonderful nieces and nephews. 

Diane was predeceased by her father, William Collopy, her mother, Theresa Collopy, her brother, Donald Collopy, her niece, Theresa Collopy and her former husband Frank Barresi.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, January 14th at Wyman- Fisher Funeral Home on Franklin Avenue in Pearl River, NY from 3:00-7:00 pm.

 The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15th at 11:30 am at St. Anthony's Parish Shrine Church in Nanuet, NY. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org) or Hi-Tor Animal Shelter.
