David Michael Allen

David M. Allen of Charlotte, NC formerly of Pearl River, NY passed away April 6, 2023.  He was 47.  
David was a graduate of Pearl River High School Class of 1994.  He worked at United Artists Theater Circuit and at Barr Pharmaceuticals.  He attended SUNY Purchase and St. John’s University Law School and passed the Bar on his first attempt and was a bankruptcy lawyer.  He moved to Charlotte ten years ago and was employed by Wells Fargo.  
He is survived by his partner of many years, James Worlin of Charlotte. Together they enjoyed traveling the world.  He recently developed a love for hydroponic gardening.  He is also survived by his parents, Judi and David Allen of Pearl River, sister, Dawn of Park Ridge, N.J. and sister, Deana Brown (Peter) of Warwick, NY, three nephews and a niece, all clearly loved by David.  
Visiting will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4PM to 8 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. 100 Franklin Ave. Pearl River, NY.
