Danielle M McManus

Danielle M. McManus, formerly of Pearl River, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, after a valiant 8-year struggle with cancer. She was 69.

Danielle worked as a Senior Analyst for the Social Security Administration. She was with the Administration for 40 years before retiring in 2019.

She was born on November 21, 1955, in South Bend, Indiana, to Daniel McManus and Marguerite (Egan) McManus. Danielle was educated in Pearl River, NY, and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1974 as the Class Salutatorian. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Languages from Albany University in 1978.

Danielle had lived in Wallington, NJ, for the past 40 years. Before that, she lived in Pearl River, NY, from 1966 to 1978.

Danielle will be remembered for her dedication to her work and as a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her step-mother, Edda McManus; her three brothers, Kevin McManus, Andrew McManus, and Matthew McManus; and her three sisters, Margaret McManus, Roseann Holden, and Nora Vincent.

She is predeceased by her mother, Marguerite (1968), and her brother, Cpl. Bernard McManus, USMC (1976), and her father, Daniel McManus (1993).

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home. A prayer service will be offered at 7:30 PM.
