Cheyanne Walsh

Cheyanne Walsh of Middletown, New York, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026.

Born on May 10, 1972, in Suffern, New York. She was raised in Pearl River, New York. Pearl River will always be home. 

Cheyanne worked at Burlington Coat Factory in Middletown, NY, for 20 years. She was known for her strong work ethic, unforgettable laugh and most of all, her deep love for her children.

She is survived by her six children: Amanda Stout, Desiree Stout, Brianna Stout, Aiden Shormis, Ava Shormis, and Dillon Shormis. She is also survived by her sisters Kim West (Joe West) and Desirae Estrada; her brother Richard Walsh (Cecilia Walsh); and Kevin Carleo.

Cheyanne was predeceased by her mother, Joan Walsh, and her brothers, Johnny and Joey Walsh.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Cheyanne’s nieces, Casey Walsh and Brandi Rogers for their love and care provided during her final days. Also to her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended loved ones from her large Irish family for the prayers and support surrounding her and her children during this time.

Cheyanne’s strength, laughter and love will forever live on. In the end, she was exactly where she always wanted to be, with her children.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, New York.
