Charles L. Young of New City, NY died on Tuesday May 28th, 2019, at his sister Allison’s home, in New City, NY. He was 52. Mr. Young worked as a paver for Young’s Paving of Providence RI. He ran the business for 40 years before retiring in 2018. Mr. Young was born July 19th, 1966 in Brattleboro, Vermont to Lewis Avery Young, and Carrie Louise Cooper. On November 16th, 1985 he married Kristine in Riverside RI. Charles will be remembered for his golden heart, with which he loved unconditionally and without judgment. He was as selfless as could be, always giving and loving without regard of his self. He was a loyal loving husband, a guiding and compassionate father, as well as a father to the fatherless. As the eldest sibling, he was his brother and three sisters rock. He was a one of a kind son, always determined to shine a ray of light into his Mother’s Day. Charles was a solider for Christ. He left behind a legacy of love. To love one another as Christ loves. If he could say one last thing to us all, it would be to draw close to God, and fight the good fight. Charles is survived by his mother Carrie Pimental, and step father Lenny Pimental. His wife Kristine Young. His three children, Ashley Stanley, Charles Young Jr., and Allison Gill. His son in laws Lee Gill, and Joseph Stanley, and daughter in law Loretta Young. His 8 grandchildren. His siblings, Mark Young, Heidi Rebello, Allison Young, and Linda Cooper. He left behind many other loved ones and friends. He is predeceased by his father Lewis Avery Young. Calling hours are Saturday 6/1/2019 @ 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM , and Sunday 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The funeral is Monday @ 11:00 AM.
