With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Charles (Charlie) Romaine, who left us on November 29, 2024. Charlie was a beloved member of our Pearl River and St. Aedan’s community, known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Born on September 8, 1966 in Nyack, NY. Charlie lived a life full of love and laughter. He graduated from Fordham University and was a devoted employee of Corporate Coffee. His colleagues remember him as a hardworking and compassionate individual who always went above and beyond to help others.
Charles was a loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and a cherished friend to many. He enjoyed his dog Izzy, and his passion for DIY projects was evident to all who knew him. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his wife Susan of 25 years, brothers Paul and Joesph, sisters Mary and Ann, and loving in-laws Doreen and Tom, Bill and Janet and Brian, and loving nieces and nephews, Timmy, Kara, Deirdre, Bridget, Brendan, Billy, Bernie, Brady, Caitlyn, and Heather, and grandnieces and nephews Luke, Katie, Caroline, Elizabeth, and James.

Wake services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Thursday at St. Aedan’s in Pearl River.
Charlie's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
