Barbara Camp-Betz

Barbara A. Betz (nee Camp) of Pearl River, NY passed away on Tuesday evening, February 25, 2020. She was 61. Mrs. Betz worked as an accounts payable specialist in the finance department at Camp Venture in Nanuet, NY. She was with the company for four and half years. Previously, she worked for Nyack School District, Nyack NY and Mercedes-Benz USA, Montvale NJ.

Barbara was born March 9, 1958 in Bronx, NY to Fred and Anne Camp.

She was a graduate of Rosary Academy H.S. and received her bachelor’s in accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas College.

On November 12, 1988 she married her best friend Albert Betz at St. Margaret Church in Pearl River.

Barbara was a selfless woman who did everything for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to concerts, the beach, and shopping with her two children and husband.

She is survived by her loving children, Stephanie and Stephen; her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Betz; in-laws, Theresa Sarto and husband, John, Elizabeth Greenberg and husband, Fred, Thomas Betz and wife, Maureen, Barbara Gilbride and husband, Thomas, Jacqueline Satenberg and husband, Matthew and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Monday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River. Visiting is Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
