Badie Z Fahmi

Badie Z. Fahmi of Nanuet passed away peacefully on Saturday 12/14/19. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving family and friends. Badie was a gentle, kind and generous husband, father and grandfather. Born in Cairo, Egypt on August 1, 1928, Badie came to America nearly 60 years ago, paving the way the for many in his family to follow. After attending the American University in Cairo and continuing his studies at Columbia University, Badie entered the world of finance spending over 35 years with Citibank. A devoted member of the Naurashaun Church for over 50 years, Badie’s life was enhanced by this extended family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, sons Russell (wife- Nancy) and Christopher (wife-Lynn) and grandchildren, Nicholas, Amanda, Justin and Alyssa. A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Helping Hands of Rockland ,PO Box 240, Nyack, NY 10960.
