Anthony Farsetta Obituary

Anthony William Farsetta, affectionately known as Tony, passed away on March 5, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born to Angelo John Farsetta and Yuko Hori on October 20, 1974. Tony was a cherished member of the Rockland community throughout his 49 years of life and worked as a Business Banking Relationship Manager for Bank of America where he developed life long friendships with his colleagues. Tony was a graduate of the State University of New York Cortland earning a bachelor's in economics in 1997 followed by an MBA in finance in 2005. Tony further pursued a career in finance, payroll management and banking. A loving son, husband, father, son-in-law, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Tony is survived by his devoted family; wife, Regina Farsetta, Brother Michael Farsetta, Daughter Julianna Farsetta, Uncle Paul Farsetta, Uncle Mark Farsetta, Uncle Kean Farsetta, Uncle Joe Farsetta, Aunt Dianne Farsetta, Aunt Casey Farsetta, Aunt Janet Farsetta, Cousins Chelsea, Brittany, Jarrad, Jenna, Matt, Joe, Mother-in-law Ida, Father-in-law Alex and Sister-in-law Diana. Tony will always be remembered as a kind, loving, considerate and generous man. He was selfless and put others needs before his own. He made sure everyone around him was taken care of first before himself. Friendship was something Tony always cherished along with the special bond he had built with all his fraternity TKE brothers. He loved watching football and appreciated the company of friends during football season. He knew more football facts than any average player or coach. He was a family man and sacrificed everything for his family to stay united, that’s what Tony will always be best known for is uniting everyone together. Tony reminded us of the Jesuit teaching: "Be a man for others" What does Men for others mean? This means a man who is not self-centered. He puts others needs before his own; he makes sure he helps everyone around him before he helps himself. The men for others are the real men in the world. Tony was full of life, laughs and compassion, he always knew how a word or a thought would impact other’s. His good nature and uplifting personality could always brighten a room and instantly spark a smile. Tony has touched many lives over the years and through his leadership, commitment and courageous work he will always be remembered as a special kind of human being that has walked this earth and now in heaven will continue his peaceful journey with God and the Angels in heaven to forever protect his fighting spirit and love for life. Love you always and forever, may you rest in peace until we all meet again.
