Annette Elfers

Annette Elfers of Warwick, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at home.  She was 86.
Mrs. Elfers worked as an Administrative Assistant for Champion Paper in West Nyack, NY for over 20 years before retiring.
Annette was born August 3, 1934 in Bronx, NY to Alfred and Lina Weigang.
On August 19, 1956 she married Donald A. Elfers in New York City.
Mrs. Elfers lived in Warwick for the past four years.  Before that she lived in Hamlin, PA from 2000 to 2016 and in Nanuet, NY from 1960 until 2000.  
Locally, she was member of Harmony on the Hudson and a member of the Red Hats in Pennsylvania.
Annette will be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh and her  positive outlook on life.  
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Joseph and their daughter, Jessica and her son, Paul and his wife, Jackie and their children, Paul Jr., Alexandra and Bryce. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald, March 20, 2011.
Visiting is Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home  Inc. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Pearl River.  Burial will take place at Highview Cemetery, Nanuet.
Friends may send memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County.
