Anne (Annette) Crowe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne (Annette) Martha Crowe (nee Galvin), 85, of Goshen, New York (formerly of Pearl River, NY).
Annette emigrated to the United States in 1955 from Quilty, County Clare, Ireland where she was born and raised with her 9 siblings. On April 30, 1960, Annette married her cherished husband Patrick Crowe Sr. Together, they shared fifty joyous years of marriage and selflessly raised six children whom she loved and adored. As a caring nurse, Annette worked at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern and for the Dominican Sisters in Blauvelt.
Annette was predeceased by her loving husband Pat and is survived by her 6 children, daughter Ann Crowe Lyons (Robert), son Patrick Joseph Crowe Jr. (Lisa), daughter Catherine Crowe McGarvey (Robert), son Kevin Crowe (Lauren), daughter Deirdre Crowe Pettus (Keith), son Sean Crowe (Rasha) and her grandchildren Patrick, Matthew, Kelly, Gina, Kevin, Michael, Rory, Grace, Declan, Bridget, Ashlin and Aidan. Her grandchildren will miss their beloved “Nanny”. She will be dearly missed by her siblings Patrick, Kitty, Martin, Sean, Tommy and Brian. She is predeceased by her parents Patrick and Anne Galvin and siblings Michael, Mary Frances, and Loretta. Annette was also the sister-in-law, Aunt, Cousin and friend of many that will miss her sorely.
Visitation will be held Tuesday April 13, 2021, from 4PM to 7PM at Wyman Fisher Funeral Home Inc., A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday April 14, 2021 at Saint Margaret’s R.C. Church, Pearl River, NY. Burial will follow at Saint Anthony’s Cemetery Nanuet, NY. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc. (hospiceoforange.com) or the American Heart Association (heart.org).
