Anne Broe

Anne Shelia Broe of the Bronx, and more recently Pearl River, NY, passed away after battling cancer on Sunday, December 11, 2022.  She was 66 years of age.  Ms. Broe worked in the financial services field for Salomon Brothers and Brown Brothers Harriman.  Later in life, she was a devoted grandmother who helped to care for her two grandchildren, Siobhan and Liam Barmess.

She is survived by her daughter, Nora, son-in-law, Joseph, grandchildren, Siobhan and Liam, brothers Daniel and Michael Broe and sister Una Doddy. Anne was blessed with a large and loving extended family including sister-in law, Patricia Broe and brother-in-law, John Doddy and nieces and nephews: Michael Broe, Andrea Broe, Patricia Broe, Sean Doddy, Timothy Doddy, Jacqueline Doddy, Brian Doddy, Matthew Broe, Edward Broe, and Molly Broe.  Anne was predeceased by her father, Daniel Broe, mother, Nora Broe, and younger brother, John Broe.

Calling hours are 2 pm-5 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Wyman Fisher Funeral Home, Pearl River, NY.  The funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 19th, 2022 at 10 am at St. Aedan’s Roman Catholic Church, Pearl River, NY.  Internment with her parents and brother will be held at a later date. Repast to follow the funeral mass.
