Anasthasia Carey Obituary

Anasthasia Carey, a long-time resident of Bronx, NY, and later Rockland County, NY, passed away peacefully after many years of illness on July 1st, 2024. Known to those closest to her as Anne, she was predeceased by her husband, William Carey, and her children, Eileen and Joseph.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Mary (Kieran) and loving sons William and David (Christine). Anne was a cherished grandmother to Nicholas Sabino (Danielle), Anastasia and Kieran Creighton, and Matthew and Luke Carey. She was also a beloved great-grandmother, affectionately known as 'GG,' to Vera, Maverick, and Bennett Sabino. Anne is also survived by her sisters and brothers in her native country of Ireland (Tipperary).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home located at 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY, 10965. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 8th, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Margaret of Antioch Church, located at 115 W Central Ave, Pearl River, NY, 10965. The interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, located at 114 Sprain Rd, Yonkers, 10710.
