Allison M McCahey

Allison Marie McCahey, of Rockland County, New York, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, held in the love of her family after a courageous battle with myxofibrosarcoma. She was 49.

Allison was born on June 16, 1976, and grew up in Plainview, New York. She later made Rockland County her home, where she built a beautiful life with her husband, Terence McCahey, and raised their three sons, Ryan, Aidan, and Matthew.

Allison’s family was the center of her world, and nothing made her prouder than being a mother. Known to many as Ali, she will be remembered for her warmth, positivity, wisdom, and deep spirituality. She had a gift for lifting people up, finding the right words in difficult moments, and making everyone around her feel supported, understood, and loved.

Throughout her life, and especially during her battle with myxofibrosarcoma, Allison showed incredible grace and strength. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply, who were proud to be hers, and who will carry her with them always.

Allison is survived by her beloved husband, Terence McCahey; her three sons, Ryan, Aidan, and Matthew; her mother, Denise Foynes; and her brother, Bryan Wood. She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Wood.
