Alan Landgren

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alan Landgren of Pearl River, NY a long time resident and owner of Landgren Electric on September 30, 2020, after a short and sudden battle with kidney cancer . He was 58.
Mr. Landgren was an electrician with Landgren Electric in Pearl River for over 40 years.
Alan was born March 23, 1962 in Spring Valley, NY to Carl Landgren and Rusty Moorhouse.
He was educated in Pearl River and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1980.
Alan will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his love of travel and his Craftmanship.  He loved camping with his friends and family and spending time in Vermont on the farm.  His knowledge and creativity for building, designing and handcrafting were of his strongest gifts and we will always see memories of him in the many projects he left behind.   
Alan is survived by Patricia; and their two sons, Henning and Hayden of Pearl River; mother, Rusty Landgren of Stuart , FL; father, Carl Landgren of Upper Saddle River, NJ; sister, Carin Landgren and her husband, George; nieces, Anna and Emily; father-in-law, Edward Schlaugies his wife, Patricia and brother-in-law, Stephen.
Visiting is Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
