Aidan Shevlin

Aidan Shevlin of Callawassie, South Carolina, formerly of Putnam Valley, New York and Starinagh Collon, Co. Louth Ireland, passed away peacefully May 28, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his beloved family.  He was 60. 

Aidan emigrated to the United States on September 4th 1986, settling in New York.  He met his wife of 32 years, Olga, in 1985 in Ireland and they married in 1990.   He was a devout husband & father to his two children. He loved to hunt, fishing and gardening. 

Sadly, he will be missed by his loving wife, Olga, his daughter, Meghan, and son, Matthew; Meghan's fiancé, John and Matthew's partner, Meg. He also leaves behind his six brothers, Sean, Kevin, Jimmy, Enda, Dermot and Noel as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Peggie.

Aidan’s family will receive friends at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Ave., Pearl River on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Church, 115 W. Central Ave., Pearl River.  He will be laid to rest in New Cemetery Collon Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland.
