Richard Lehan Obituary

Richard E. Lehan a 50 year resident of Pearl River, NY passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019.  He was 80.
Richard retired as a  First Grade Detective from the Joint Bank Robbery Task Force. He was a special deputy for the  U.S. Marshall Service.  He was with the NYPD  from 1966 until his retirement in August of 2000.  
Rich was born March 14, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to William and Josephine Lehan. 
He served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1969 attaining the rank of SP4.
Rich will be most remembered for his greatest accomplishments, being a wonderful father and devoted grandfather.   
He is survived by his children, Loraine (Bill) Kelly, Beth (Scott) Stout and Kerry Thomas; grandchildren, Bill, Brian, Gina, Matthew, Brittany, Amanda, Braeden, Anthony and Avery and four great grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (2016). 
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Tappan, NY.  Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.  Visiting is  Friday from  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
