Peter W. Engel

Peter W. Engel of Orangeburg, NY,  formerly a resident of  Pearl River, NY for 29 years, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Nyack Hospital.  He was 64.
Mr. Engel was a salesman for international shipping companies for 30 years. 
Peter was born October 22, 1954 in New York City to Walter and Rose Engel.
Locally, he was a member of A. O. H. Division 3 and drummer in the band, Little League coach and lector at St. Margaret’s Church.
Peter will be remembered for his love of family. 
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen P. Engel of Orangeburg; son, Peter F. Engel of Orangeburg;  daughter, Jane Patricia Engel of Nyack, NY; three brothers, Anthony, Edward and Daniel,  sister, Sister Elizabeth Engel O.P., and brother, Father Paul Engel  also many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, Mary Sweeney, Harold Engel and Terese Engel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Visiting is Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
