Paul Allen DeCicco, 75, of Woodland Park, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, May 5th at Villa Marie Claire Hospice in Saddle River, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in the Bronx, he lived in Nanuet, New York, for 45 years, where he and his wife Ingrid raised their family. He was the owner and president of Payson Litho where he enjoyed the pace and vibrancy of Manhattan, the location of his work-a-day world. He was a kind-hearted man who always rooted for the underdog.
Paul served in the U.S. Army in Korea and later earned an Associates Degree from New York City Technical College. He served on the Board of Directors of PFLAG Rockland and Norway Ski Club. He recently joined the Four Seasons of Great Notch Veterans Club.
Paul is survived by his wife, Ingrid; his three children, Eric Lewis of Wyckoff, NJ, David DeCicco of New Haven, CT, and Gabriel DeCicco of Montclair, NJ; his daughters-in-law – Jenny Lewis, wife of Eric, and Katherine Rosenblatt, wife of Gabriel; and five grandchildren – Julia, Melanie, Heather, Charlie and Gregory.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 9th, 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM, at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY and a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10th at 10:30 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pearl River.
