Kris A. (von Doehren) Blauvelt

Kris A. Blauvelt of Pearl River, NY, passed away Tuesday June 11, 2019. She was 73.

Ms. Blauvelt was born April 23, 1946 in Jersey City, NJ to John and Marie von Doehren. She was educated in Pearl River, NY and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1964. Kris was a driver for the Clarkstown School District.  

Kris will be remembered for being  funny, loving, and  the life of the party.  She loved the beach, volleyball, the Yankees, and being a sports mom “Ms. B”.

She is survived by her sons, Richard and wife, Julie, Darren and fiancé Danielle, and three grandchildren, Joseph, Brooke, and Natalie.  She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne and wife, Lyse, Lee and wife, Mair, and Dave von Doehren, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Visiting will be held Tuesday June 18, 2019 from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. 100 Franklin Ave. Pearl River, NY 10965
