Kathleen (McCarthy) Ryan

Kathleen (née McCarthy) Ryan passed away peacefully at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City, NY on August 1, 2019, at the age of 56. 

Kathleen was born October 1962 in the Bronx, NY.  She graduated from Pearl River High School in 1980 and St. Thomas Aquinas in 1984.  Locally she was a paralegal for the Legal Aid Society of Rockland County and for many years a waitress at Mahwah Bar and Grill where she made lifelong friends.

Kathleen is survived by her mother Diane McCarthy, and siblings Teresa McCarthy, John McCarthy (Patricia), Patricia Voigt (Bill), Eileen Bellew (Kevin Houston).  In addition to her nieces and nephews: Brielle, Caroline, Jack, Kaylie, Katreana, Colleen, Kieran, Patrick, Emma, Lauren, Luke, and Leanne.  She is predeceased by her father Austin McCarthy, siblings Austin and Diane, and brother-in-law John Bellew.

 A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00am Monday August 5th at St. Aedan Catholic Church, Pearl River, NY.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.  Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday August 4th at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joe Raso Hospice Residence.
