Joan (Marino) Babcock

Joan Babcock (nee Marino) of Pearl River, NY passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019.  She was 87.
Joan was born May 28, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ.  She was a graduate of Spring Valley HS.  On November 4, 1951 she married Kenneth Babcock at St. Joseph R. C. Church in Spring Valley, NY.   
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa and husband, David Warner and Nancy and David Way; daughter-in-law,  Cynthia; grandchildren, Stephen (Anna), Elizabeth, Christine, (Michael, deceased), Daniel, Rory (Will), Ross, Jeffrey, Dylan and Melanie; great-grandchildren, Matt, Trevor, Everett, Miller, Madelyn, Ella, Vanessa, Jeremy and Jessie. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; her mother, Anna (Traber) Tellefsen; father, Walter Tellefsen and sons, Edward and Richard Babcock.  
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting is Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
