Joan Aiello Obituary

Joan Eileen Aiello of Pearl River, NY a resident for 46 years, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. She was 71.
Joan was born April 9, 1944 in Bronx, NY to John and Mary (Ryan) Timmons. She was a graduate of Our Savior Elementary School in 1957 and a 1961 graduate of Walton High School.
On August 20, 1966 she married Francis J. Aiello at St. Ann's R. C. Church in the Bronx.
Locally she was a member of the Shady Ladies at the Nauraushaun Swim Club.
She is the beloved wife of Francis of Pearl River and loving mother and grandmother of daughters, Dawn Marie (Thomas Joseph) Bongiovanni of Congers, NY and Jennifer Eileen Aiello of Nanuet, NY and grandchildren, Jack Matthew and Brian Francis Bongiovanni and sister, Cecilia Zagroba of Warwick, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet. Visiting is Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc..
