Grace L Roos

Grace L. Roos, 91, formerly of Pearl River, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2019 in Nanuet.  Her parents Amanda and Rudolph Roos, sisters Marion Roos and Astrid Mellen, predeceased her.  Her brother Eric of Bayville, NJ, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews survive her. 

Grace was born in Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern and lived until recently in Pearl River where she is well remembered for the many years that she worked at Sanford’s Pharmacy.  She was an active member of Good Sheppard Lutheran Church, participated in local bowling leagues, and enjoyed bingo nights with her friends.  She had extensive family in Sweden and Finland with whom she kept in frequent contact.  She was a loving Aunt to many.

Visitation will be held at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY on Tuesday, April 23 from 5-8 pm.  A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 24th at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 112 N. Main Street, Pearl River, followed by interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack.
