Donald J. Craig

Donald James Craig of Pearl River, NY,  passed away peacefully on January 22, 2019.  He was 70.  
Don  was born December 5, 1948 in Yonkers, NY to James and Lily (Silbert) Craig.
He served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972 attaining the rank of Sergeant.  After serving in the Army he worked for 37 years for the Bank of  New York.  He later worked for the Pearl River Fire District.  Don was also an active member of the Excelsior Engine Company. He was valuable member who also worked as  Secretary, Safety Officer, and Trustee.  He will be missed by the members of the Pearl River Fire Dept. 
 
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Barbara (Dalio), his daughter Annemarie and husband,  John Dempsey; granddaughters, Erin and Emma; his sister, Margaret Hegney and many nieces and nephews. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am  Monday at St. Aedan R. C. Church, Pearl River. Burial will follow at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.  Visiting is Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
