Antoinette Scavera

Antoinette Scavera, of Chestnut Ridge, NY died on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was 90. Antoinette was born March 2, 1929 in Emerson, NJ to Frank and Marie Falotico. On January 27, 1952 she married Samuel M. Scavera Sr. in Emerson, NJ. Antoinette recently celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by her loving family. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to family and her fabulous cooking. She is survived by her sons; Samuel (Pam), Steven, daughter, Deborah Moore (Paul) seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and sister, Frances. Her husband, Samuel of 65 years predeceased her in March 2017. Antoinette especially enjoyed visits with her great-grandchildren who brought her great joy. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, at St. Margaret R.C. Church, Pearl River, NY. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting will be held Monday, April 22, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Friends may send memorial donations in Antoinette’s name to St. Jude children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
